Optimization of Metal–Ceramic Functionally Graded Plates Using the Simulated Annealing Algorithm

چکیده
This work involves the design optimization of metal–ceramic through thickness functionally graded material (FGM) plates subjected to thermomechanical loadings. Constrained was performed for minimum mass and cost FGM plates. The process plate structures requires a good choice metal ceramic materials adequate definition components volume fractions direction in order accomplish certain structural behavior, while optimizing costs and/or mass. Here, problems are solved with simulated annealing (SA) algorithm, not requiring calculation derivatives objective or constraint functions. single cases studied, validated alternative solutions, considering p-index as variables. New cases, involving additionally variables, presented both benchmark purposes demonstrate suitability SA algorithm solve those problems.
